When should I have my rug cleaned?
Since you don’t want to have your rug professionally cleaned very often, there are some things you can do to help keep it nice. Vacuuming it weekly will keep dirt from getting ground into it, and thus will preserve it. If a spot of something gets on it, follow the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions to remove the spot. If the rug becomes obviously dirty, it should be deep-cleaned, perhaps by a professional depending on the type of rug.
